Math games are fun ways to develop children’s confidence and competence in math. Join Joseph Thompson, head teacher at Explorations in Math, as he teaches how to play math games using every day items such as playing cards, dice and sheets of paper. These games are easy to learn, quick to set up and play, and are fun and challenging.

Even if you are helping us with aspects of our work other than playing math games with kids at Family Math Nights or other events, and even if you don’t have kids of your own, you can deepen your involvement in the math movement with this training. You will leave having experienced the joy of math and ready to spread the word about our work with friends, family and co-workers.
