Imagine a school gym filled with squeals of delight, high-fives and gleeful jigs when a challenge is met. Imagine now that coming from families playing math games! Eastside MathFest is our annual math bash on the Eastside hosted by Explorations in Math, a Seattle non-profit working to improve people’s relationship with math. Eastside MathFest will only be successful if people like YOU to join us as a volunteer. Eastside MathFest is a great opportunity for employee or community groups to give back to the community—and help us develop the workforce of the future at the same time! Help is needed to set up (starts at 11 a.m.) and take down game booths (4-5 p.m), to play games with the elementary students attending, and to assist with other tasks. Volunteers will receive a t-shirt and light refreshments.
