Explorations In Math

Seattle MathFest 2011

A record-shattering year!

For the 6th year in a row, Explorations in Math hosted MathFest in Seattle at the Rainier Community Center.  Seattle MathFest 2011 hosted a record attendance of over 1,200 kids, parents, teachers and community volunteers to play games and celebrate the Math Movement in their lives.

This one-of-a-kind event hosts first through fifth graders and their siblings and lets them venture from game to game - playing in a fully emersive math environment. While playing,  students build their confidence in and enthusiasm for math, and see that the community supports their achievements.
